About

Keeping live shows calm, even when they shouldn't be.

I work in event tech. Registration, event apps, streaming and broadcast ops. The audience sees a clean show. I see the signal chain, the backup paths and the things most likely to break first.

Thirteen years in. I have run the show floor, and now I own the technology behind it. At Kestone, I manage four products my team built from scratch: the onsite registration and experience suite, the YZ in-person event app, a virtual event platform and a webinar product. The app brings agendas, AI matchmaking, polling and moderated Q&A into the same journey.

Registration is where most of my work sits. Pre-event forms and approvals, RSVP management, onsite registration and QR check-in, smart badge printing, session tracking, booth lead capture, feedback and giveaway tracking. One connected attendee journey, from the first invite to post-event follow-up.

Before product, I produced Google and YouTube APAC events through MCI Group across India, Australia, Japan and Southeast Asia. Before that I built and led a five-person engineering team at Kestone delivering 450+ virtual and hybrid events a year.

Same goal every time: build something that holds up, fix problems before anyone sees them, and stay calm when the count hits zero.

Things I built and ran live.

Not a job-title list. These are real problems I got handed, the tools I built to fix them, and the numbers from the other side.

Registration & onsite

From the first invite to the last badge scan.

Registration is the backbone of every event I run. One flow from invite to follow-up, so the data captured at the door is still useful when sales picks it up.

Streaming, webcast & infrastructure

The plumbing behind a clean broadcast.

Signal doesn't move itself. This is the kit and the workflow I set up for live and hybrid shows.

Attendee data & AI

Reading the room before anyone walks in.

VIRSA uses registration data to auto-classify 80 to 90% of attendees by industry and predict intent from profile and company context. Registration to attendance went from 30% to 42%, and reconfirmation calling dropped 28%. Badge tagging by role and intent lets floor teams spot buyers, partners and other groups at a glance.

Career timeline

Project engineer to product owner.

The shows kept getting bigger, and so did everything I was on the hook to keep on air. Then I moved to the other side and started building the tools instead.

Skills & platforms

What I actually use.

The stacks, protocols and platforms behind the work. Certified where it counts.
